Professional Affiliations

Neil graduated with an Honours B.Sc. degree in Marine Zoology from the University of British Columbia in 1971. While attending UBC he took a basic dive course through the YMCA, becoming certified in 1969.

He has over 35 years of diving experience and is additionally certified in Nitrox and SCC rebreather operation. A former diving Instructor, NAUI #2493, he a member of  IATSE 669 as a camera operator and IATSE 891 as a Special Effects diver. He maintains current Workers Compensation Board (British Columbia) Occupational Diver status.
